Meet Your Director

Brandy Campbell began dancing at the age of three with ballet and tap. Over the past 35+ years, she has added jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, pointe, modern, cultural, and musical theatre styles to her extensive training. Through her high school years, Brandy earned many first-place and high-point awards at regional and national dance competitions and conventions such as Co. Dance, KAR, Spotlight, Showstoppers, and I Love Dance. In 1995, Brandy was crowned Miss Dance Roseville, California.

She loved being a role model so much that in 1998, she became “Miss Brandy” and realized her true calling as a teacher by instructing and choreographing dance at several dance studios. 2001 brought on even more excitement for Brandy as she started her own dance company, “Starlight Performers." Through “Starlight Performers,” Brandy taught and directed theatre and dance for a local after-school program where they performed musicals every fall and spring season.

Continuing her dance education through her college years, Brandy studied Theatre and Dance at California State University, Sacramento. During that time, she danced with Jazzee Dance Company for two years and earned the honor of choreographing for another.

In 2002, Brandy earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree and became a full-time dance instructor. Since then, she has trained company dancers from beginner to advanced, earning her and her dancers many choreographic and technical awards. Brandy moved to South Haven, MI in 2006 with her husband and began Shoreline Dance Academy, where she strives to teach her dancers about commitment and integrity in both dance and life.
